Sure, Judy is the star at Judy’s Loft Salon (it is her name on the sign, after all), but all of our team members are here to ensure that you get the very best service and experience when you come to see us. JUDY LOVETT

Judy has been a salon owner for 22 years. As a stylist, she is always seeking your best look that will make the most of your assets and minimize your least favorite qualities. One of the tools she uses to achieve this is a 1/2 hour consultation. She asks a series of questions, each building on the other, to discover your vision for your look. A color expert, Judy holds an instructor's license and has taught for Framesi and Paul Mitchell color systems. She has been in salons and on stage, teaching other stylists how to cut, color and style. For over two years, she worked as a proctor for the state of Texas and determined who was going to become an instructor or stylist. These different experiences, and being a stylist for 38 years, gives her an advantage as your stylist that is impossible to duplicate.

Judy Lovett is known across the state as one of the premier stylists in the San Antonio area. She is both knowledgeable and experienced, and brings both to every single session she books. A long-time color expert, she holds an instructor’s license and has taught for Framesi color systems and Paul Mitchell Systems. She has been in salons and on stage, teaching other stylists how to cut, color and style. For over 2 years she worked as a proctor for the state of Texas. Her job was to decide who was going to become an instructor or stylist.

"You MUST See Judy"

CURLY GIRLS!! If you are looking for someone who knows what they're doing with curly hair, you MUST see Judy! I have very curly, frizzy hair (thanks, dad) and after 26 years of never returning to the same salon twice because nobody understood my hair, I have FINALLY found someone who helped me! Judy sat with me and we talked for a half hour about my hair - what I like, dont like, what I want in a hair cut. She taught me about curly hair and offered her opinion on what style of cut would best suit my features (something nobody has ever done for me before). I just had my second appointment and again we sat down and talked about what I want with my cut. I've already made my next 2 appointments and I honestly dread the day that I move out of San Antonio and have to find a new hairdresser.

"So Friendly"

Went to Judy after a year of going somewhere else. I wanted to get my hair back to its original color. Judy started with a 30-minute consultation, which included asking questions and explaining her plan for my hair. At the end of the consultation, I felt we were on the same page. I could also tell that she really loves her job. The salon is clean and inviting. Everyone there was so friendly and enthusiastic about their work. When people walked in, Judy made sure to introduce everyone. It's a level of friendliness and customer service I haven't seen in a very long time. I am so happy to have found Judy's Loft Salon!

"Worth the Wait"

Judy has been amazing at restoring my hair from overdone, dry, and frazzled highlights hell! I've had countless bad hair cuts and colors in my day, but few great ones. Judy gives me great hair! She consults with you closely every visit, and takes notes on your client file. My hair looks better after each visit, which really increases my professional image. She has a dedicated clientele, so be prepared early and book ahead, walk-ins dont have much luck, as Judy is worth the wait.

I personally go to Anne, but ALL the stylists there are fabulous, and they work together to make sure you are getting the look you want.
